Is There a Predictability to How This Series Goes?
I think that for someone who is a fan of this genre, there is a predictability to how this series goes and how this storyline goes. But people who are casual TV viewers, like my partner's parents love this show. They're not jaded and cynical like the rest of us who watch too much television. I'm going to give white lotus a pass on this because it just feels like it exists in a separate category. It's drama, but it's also just like a water cooler show, which we need more of these days.
