Is There a One Best Exercise?
There is no one best exercise type. Maybe progressive exercise is better than non progressive exercise, which kind of makes sense. There was a great systematic review published in 2015 by Chris Littlewood that kind of mapped out the exercise parameters. And then we need to ask the patient what what they've done in the past or what they would like to do. Then collaboratively between the clinician and the patient, you can devise an exercise program that they're likely to adhere to. I think that results in the best outcomes for the patient.
