The FDA's Steps to Strengthen Grass Oversight
In 2016, the FDA made steps to quote unquote, strengthen this grass oversight. The best they could do was just like, I'm literally quoting the FDA here, strongly encourage companies to inform the agency of their grass. So there's no enforcement here. This is a really novel case. It's very intriguing because it involved this ingredient that nobody was aware of and it was a medical mystery. But it probably won't be for long.
