The Quantum Weirdness Is Real
The world is not locally real in the way that our senses tell us it is. Until they're measured, things just exist in a kind of potential. They don't have actual attributes until they are measured. quantum computing may be able to solve diseases and simulate realistic natural worlds. But for me there's a huge, throbbing philosophical question right beneath the surface. What is the role of consciousness in that measurement?
