The Age of Virtue
In the age of commerce, virtue such as courage and devotion to duty are still ubiquitous. But enterprise is turned towards seeking new forms of wealth which leads to the age of affluence. The turn to a folks ar money erodes virtue. It silences the voice of duty. Somewhere in here is the noontime of the empire. Yet the first signs of internal decay become visible. And aleaders promised not to work for the nation, but to harm the opponents of their supporters. Glub also complains that we moderns do not learn from history - he had seen nothing yet.
