"This isn't a profession that you choose as much as it shows me," says Elizabeth Kubler-Ross. "I lived in a world where people said, make sure you lie about your age per beer." She was 13 years old when her mother died alone after one of the first mass shootings in the US. The family was thought of as outside the healing process and keep the family out so the healing can happen.
