The Relationship Between Temperament and Political Belief

There's a relationship between temperament and political belief. Liberal, left leading types tend to be high in openness but low in conscientiousness. The right wing types are low in openness yet high in coscient ness. We need the radical thinkers to produce transformations when they're necessary. But we need the conservative types to implement sensible solutions. That's why free speech is fundamentally axiomatic - you can't have a successful polity without it.
