The Real Mastery Curve

Mastery is becoming very excellent at what you do and whatever it is you choose to do. 99 % of people are dabblers, and they just try stuff out, and then they go on to something else. The biggest problem with mastery is that if you don't understand how the process is supposed to go, you tend to have naive notions about how it should go. And those naive notions ultimately lead you to failure.
