The Voice of Reason
Lonely old man called Torsten, whose wife and daughter had died. Other people often visited him and brought him food, but with each passing day he spoke to them less. He was too old to work, and felt ashamed that he could not join the other men. A leaf flew through his window and landed on his ear. It said: I have heard you complaining. Why should you have to work on the land? You have worked hard all your life,. and they left you here by yourself.
