Aquinas' Principle of Practical Reasoning

Thomas Aquinas called the first principle of practical reasoning. And that was to do good and to avoid evil. So level three people seek what's good for themselves and others. They have good will for themselves and other, so they don't kill or steal. All the ten commandments for Aquinas are precepts of natural law. It would be a little bit like if you cared about your health you said look I don't want to die of cancer. Right? My parents died of cancer. Cancer runs my family."
