The Importance of Gender in Class Assignment

In Indo European languages there are patterns more obvious than others like if you have a word in Greek and it's in the second declension ending in S chances are it is masculine with a small number of exceptions. In other languages such as Bantu, nouns just got their nouns and there's no marking on them at all about what gender they're in yeah. That can place a little bit of a mental load on people during the language.
