I really try to take all of the brainwash that I experienced in my life and flip that on its head. So I'm also very open about being a sex worker in my class which is not something most teachers do. Even when I'm talking about different gender constructs and when I talk about constructions of difference I also bring in sex work. I bring in sex and sexuality and how we've been influenced to think a certain way about those things without actually getting know ourselves. It's more like where are you with yourself and who are you separate from what you thought you were supposed to be like when we're born for example.
