The Moral Alexander's Role in Killing the Line
The Obama administration talked strong support for this, but the project sort of languished in Washington. It wasn't until Ernie Moniz became the energy secretary that it got a little momentum. And what you had instead was Senator Alexander, who is chairman of energy and water appropriations. He has fought any kind of wind development in Tennessee; he doesn't like wind anywhere. But I'm just not sure if that much can be done without some sustain focus from Washington, DC.
