The Importance of Solving a Niche Problem

A lot of the times, you know, successful open source projects solve very niche problem. And people experience in such big pain that they're ready to pay for it. So there is that very, I'm again coming back to the idea that solving a real niche problem is actually the key to success. If you're able to meet your goals and get pain customers, like people that are actually willing to paid for it, then you're probably on the way to success.
