Translated, Don't Ask for Things, but Wish for Things

Translators offer translations that are often very similar, but may be importantly different. So you translate instead of wishing that things would happen as you'd like, wish that they would happen as they do, and then you'll be content. Tony Long's recent translation of the Enchiridian is "Don't ask for things to happen as you would like them to, but wish them to happen as they actually do" I think that's slightly better than Tony's all right.
