The right to keep and bar arms is not the same as the right to self defense. The court seems to be pulling directly on this sort of decades of industry funded scholarship in law reviews and other outlets. So just what does this say about the nature of law? That's a very deep question, i think. N one is about constitutional change, and what counts as legitimate constitutional change. And another is about what it means to interpret constitution in keeping with originalist interpretation.
