The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)

Burt H kriminger, Thomas p vartanian and Michael h kriminger give their views on the federal deposit insurance corporation. The FDIC was created by congress in 19 33 to maintain stability and public confidence in the nation's financial system. It has four main responsibilities: insuring bank deposits, examining and supervising state chartered banks that are not members of the federal reserve system,. making large and complex financial institutions resolvable and managing receiver ships.
