The o e d has always been based on crowd sorcing, where a we ask people for help either finding specific words or just sending in anything they find interesting. In the year two thousand we decided to have dedicated effort on line to crowd source science fiction quotations. And this became a prominent web site and ended up giving way toa separately published dictionary about science fiction called brave new words. i restart last year, making it much larger and with links to a wide variety of additional sources,. So that you can now click through entries and see the original publication in the original palt magazines and things like that. It is still growing.
