Are We Looking at Something That's Patuitary?

We have no idea what dana sequences do or where they go. Our task as scientists is to tease out, ok, we know that when this child was conceived, they got a dana sequence that is correlated with them being in school for 26 years,. verse 16 years versus 12 years. Why? And down at that, to me, is such an exciting and interesting scientific project.
