Sloan made it a priority to visit and to talk with dealers. This is very similar to what Sam Walton did, he would constantly go to every single store. Sloan's numbers spoke for themselves; net sales grew from 300 million to 1.5 billion. Net income had grown from a loss of 40 million to a net profit of 250 million. It was the largest turnaround in most thorough transformation in business history.
