House of Memories at National Museums of Liverpool

House of Memories is a new dementia care programme at National Museums of Liverpool. It uses the museum's social history collections to help people living with dementia. Carers are shown how they may use different museum resources, such as exhibitions and curators' work. The project was set up by Carol Rogers after she noticed her own mum felt comforted when having objects from home in her room.
