How to Tune Out of Contemptuous Media

If you consume contemptuous media and it's making you angry, anxious, frustrated, contemptuous yourself, it's a signal you need to stop looking at it. Stop reading or watching content that's simply gonna make you angry. It only encourages the manufacturers of such content. Nothing frustrates someone trying to provoke a reaction more than when that reaction doesn't come. The compromise brand is something like large parts of the day get off of it for an evening for a month at a time. But then if I look at my phone and is telling me like, 10 hours a day you're on social media, well, all right, reduce that. Just get that down to 30 minutes or something
