Sesame street was originally conceived to be a show for the least fortunate and advantaged kids in america. But now it's fighting for audience share and revenue, and it needs a suitor to come in and save it financially. And that suitor comes in the shape of h b o. In two thousand 15 they made a deal with h b o, basely, to sustain sessimy street.

Today’s show was produced by Haleema Shah, edited by Matt Collette, engineered by Efim Shapiro, fact-checked by Laura Bullard and hosted by Sean Rameswaram.
