What Are Parables?

There's an expression that gets used over and over again by christ of the new testament, let him who has ears to hear. These parables are times told before large audiences. They are sometimes told privately to the disciples. Even sometimes in these public contects, when the lord lord seems to allude to it himself, that not every one will hear and understand yet. Sometimes a lesson of a parable will so irritate us that we won't hear it, will close down.
