Is Meditation for Panic Really Helpful?
Yeah it's been super helpful and obviously it like doesn't get rid of it you know like I was nervous when we started this podcast but it a makes it less a lot less likely to happen. For example for some people meditation actually makes panic worse right because you're feeling like you might suffocate so putting your attention on your breath can like heighten those feelings. If you're doing that intentionally it could actually be quite interesting if you're trying to show yourself that you're not suffocating, great. But if you're expecting it to calm you down and it makes it worse you're gonna have a bad time. It's about learning to sit with it so that doesn't bother you
