Is There a Global Flood?

Some critics of the global flood view have pointed out that the flood stories in different parts of the world disagree on the details. Many don't all refer to a family like noah's surviving, but maybe just a couple of people or even one son. The vessels are different, and the length of the flood changes from a few days to many years. In some stories, people survive without any vessel and just climb high mountains. And sometimes the legendn just describes a big flood without claiming it covered the whole of the land.
