The Importance of a Fast Start

The 28-day fast start as written in my book is a journey of self discovery and figuring out what makes you feel good. We're not trying to win the fasting olympics and i think that's really really important to know. Our bodies have powerful feedback mechanisms in place that let us know when things are going well. If your blood sugar dropped down to 30 and you got shaky you felt terrible you wouldn't need a cgm to know that your body tells you you're in distress, so if you're ever shaky or nauseous you eat. I'm someone who does pretty well in about a five hour eating window daily that's about right.
