What Is So Significant About the James Webb Telescope?
The James Webb telescope has been launched at an enormous distance. It is able to observe wavelengths of light in a much broader set of wavelengths that it's also able to observe. Doppler shift, the idea that if something is moving away from us, it appears redder. And so we are effectively seeing these galaxies as they existed many billions of years in the past.
