Syria's Permanent Representative to the UN Announces a Deal With Syria

The UN announces that a deal has been reached with Syria, meaning the legitimate Syrian government, to reopen borders crossing from Turkey. This does put a Syrian government and President Bashar al-Assad back in the driving seat of these border crossings. That's what one man and a small group of people can achieve. Of course, many more people working that way can achieve a lot more.
