When you 're stuck on the loop, you forget how insignificant somebody like that will be later on. I suspect this guy knows kind of what he's doing and how easy it is for him to just remain a character. Maybe h's just looking for just a little moment. But either way, i would just take mat's advice and cut it off as much as possible. There's no need for you to have this person in your life in any way.
