There's a trend here. There's a habit, there's a life style that i think is being reinforced. And so to your point, one of the ways dads can apply this verse is by helping our children understand that when they get back on the faithfulness horse, they're going to send and when they do, it'll wipe away their sin.
Nobody’s perfect. Intellectually, we know that to be true, but that rings hollow when we come up short and fall into the quicksand of sin. While our sin might create problems with our relationships here on earth, it ultimately offends the God who created us and sent His Son to die for us. Thankfully, He has proven time and again that He is faithful to forgive when we come to Him in humility. As we continue our study of Proverbs 16, we’ll see that God’s trustworthy love and grace can help us course correct so we can become the men He created us to be.
