Small Pox Vaccines - A History of Vaccination

Most vaccines that people receive today are administered as shots. But small pox vaccine goes into the skins, superficial layers. By the mid 19 sixties, there were a few different methods for doing this. Excess vaccine was often left behind on a person's skin and left to either dry there or be wiped away. The standard ye jet injector devices were made to try to make vaccinating more efficient. These years also saw improvements in how small pox vaccines were administered.
