The Crockpo of the Intellectual Life
In the intellectual life, one thing he talks about is how it's constant. One of things that i thought was interesting is how he almost tries to turn sleep and to work. He doesn't really end up doing that, but if if you were to only read certain selectio, you would think, yes, sleep is work. But even sleep, athe probably the greatest example of the cessation of work, has a role to play in in the life of the intellectualo. I like to like the crockpo metaphor. You need to bring the ingredients, put hem into a and then let it stow over night, and maybe in the morning you have breakfast ready.
