Rationality is a very poor predictor of people's people's decision making. People don't form beliefs based on evidence to just follow up they just confirmed their biases, he says. He argues that reason was never situated in individual minds but rather an institutional phenomena like the courtroom or prosecutor and defense attorneys battling it out in the jury.
