The Hope of a Liberal and Political Culture in a Civilizing Process
A liberal and political culture was supposed to pre-knot a relapse into the bad habits of times when all of our countries, except Norway, maybe had been empires. Today this hope in a self-attunalist, civilizing process is being denied by reinvigorated antisemitism,. right-wing populism, and even racism which in some places reach even into government circles as the example of ordinary shows.
