Hong: I think in some sense the characters themselves and the absurdist nature does this kind of personal de-risking. When you're like a goat head voting on governance matters or a coffee bean or a chili pepper, it makes it fun and lowers the stakes in certain ways. The alternative of the sort of traditional IP model is this giving everything up for free, cleaning everything the public domain model. But what used to plague that side of the spectrum is that it doesn't scale.
