Harry Mills stumbled onto the experimental transmissions coming from Frank Conrad's garage, 35 miles away. He was talking to me and says, now I'm going to play a phonograph record, and he did. The guy hadn't heard voice before, and he grabbed up the music and it opened up a whole new world. Rick Harris is an amateur historian who has dedicated his life to preserving and researching the history of that garage.
