Food prices have risen by 10 to 20% in recent months. Food can be 60, 70 or even 80 % of the total expenditure for very low income households. So when food prices rise, what we see is diquality worsens. Children kept out of school, people postponing most basic things in order to keep eating. We're seeng beyond the food system in for health, for economics in some countries.
