Building a Non-Meeting First Culture
It helps with recruiting. Every person who has joined levels is more culturally aligned than the person prior because there's very few people, if any, join levels without knowing what they're signing up for. Another area that's somewhat radical also is a non-meeting first culture. We took this saying from Matt Mullenweg from WordPress that you should be async as possible, but not more. There are absolutely times when having a meeting is the best way.
