Was Astrology a Pursuit of the Individual?
The foundation of astrology was actually political. Ami was what we now call mundane astrology, the astrology of nations and and of politics. A mene you study yo your astronomer studied the sky because they wanted to know what was going to apen to their community. They were consulted by kings and other authority figures who want to say, ok, is this a good time to go to war? Is this a goodTime to dig new canals? And so that that collective focus was what astrology originally was. It was from that process, througha that sort of focus on new born royalty, basically that u start.
