The Importance of Marriage

I was speaking at a conference this past week and one of the statements I made that got some laughter. Marriage is actually the first cross-cultural relationship that we will ever enter because male and female are very different biologically in many other ways. My mother understood this as she grew up in a testosterone filled home even the dog was a boy. Because I love my family I have submitted to their desire that I enter into the story of Lorelei and Rory the Gilmore Girls with them  and I'm not turning in my man card for that.
