Martin Bryant - The Massacre at Port Arthur

Martin bryant was judged fit to stand trial, and his trial was scheduled to begin on the seventh of november 19 96. He initially pleaded not guilty, but was persuaded by his court appointed lawyer, john avory and the prosecution to plead guilty to all charges. In a later interview, he m that he had been planning the massacre at port arthur for a few weeks prior including the attack on the martins.
