Trust Is a Positive Feedback Loop

As you maintain a high level of morality, people are attracted to that and people want to reciprocate. If I do something good for you, it's just part of human nature that you are going to want to return the favor. But if I do something to kind of burn that bridge or I betray you in some way or another, it takes a long time to build trust. Trust is so worth it because it's so valuable, but trust can be broken really quickly.
