Burnlown's MLM Is an Illegal Pyramid Scheme
Burnlown's tried to argue that not all MLMs are pyramid schemes and while they may technically be true, their MLM most certainly was a pyramid scheme. It took about two years from when the appeal was filed to when the US appeals court affirmed in ruling in favor of the FTC. And I'm not going to lie, I do kind of find it pathetic that one of the punishments was, hey, don't be involved in a Ponzi scheme or a pyramid scheme again.
