The Risks of Competing in China

I think there's a much common ground that ought to be explored between the United States and Europe. Both face the same risk environment with regard to whether they're sourcing from China or competing in China. The fundamental issue is industrial competitiveness in an era of rising energy costs. In the middle term, there's a major competitiveness problem that Europe has to account for. I don't see the actions that are associated with that.
