The Whaley House Museum
The Whaley house has been around since 1856 built by a merchant named Thomas Whaley. Some people say Thomas Whaley still lives here in spirit. A little girl who used to play with the Whaley children and a sailor named Yankee Jim Robinson were hanged for stealing a boat four years before the Whaley house even existed. The Whaley house museum offers tours daily with tickets starting at about $15 apiece.
