The Ivy League Schools That Need the Tuition Revenue
In the Ivy League, Dartmouth, Princeton, Yale, Penn, and Brown were the five schools that had more students from the 1% than from the bottom 60%. Every single one of these wealthy private schools could do so much more to admit and to better serve poor and working class students. But it's also undeniably the case that when you look at a metric like tuition dependence, there are schools like Yale or Princeton who have the latitude that they could pretty much send people to school for free.
