The Means of Grace

Think of the means of grace as something like, you know, the postman taking that check and delivering it to your home. That's the delivery system, so that the debt that's been paid now comes to us. In other words, when we say means of grace, we don't just mean that grace comes through the sacraments, but it comes through the word. This is why we talk about word and sacraments. And i mean, ultimately, if we're going to give priority to one over the other, which i don't know how helpful that talk even is, but the priority is in the word,.
