The Lord's Anointed Is Before Him

Saul looked great on the outside, but his character was compromised on the inside. That made saul rely on himself instead of god. And that cut saul and israel off from god's power. So god rejected him from being king. Those moments where it seems like god is not doing anything were often the places that he is doing his best work.
