The Ecological Effect of Invasive Plants in Our Landscape
S simmering is a competitive like chemical that this plant releases and it interferes with the micro rise old reproduction of the quote unquote native plants. And so it's a very good area for the deer. 10 to 20 years, it no longer produces that and it just naturalizes itself into feeble little plant and the other plants come in. So my question. When I see these invasive plants in our landscape is more of a holistic question which is, what is the ecological function. Like what is the reason why these things are here?
